The Southern Gold Coast Chamber of Commerce was formed following the merger in 2016 of the Creek to Creek Chamber of Commerce, (formerly known as the Palm Beach Elanora Chamber of Commerce) and the Southern Gold Coast Chamber of Commerce. While still a new Chamber, we have a heritage that stretches back 50 years of service to local business.
The Southern Gold Coast Chamber of Commerce is the one of the most active Chambers on the Gold Coast, with membership extending from Tallebudgera / Palm Beach to Coolangatta and the NSW Border. We hold regular business events year round and are committed to furthering our member’s business interests by encouraging forward thinking development of the area while working effectively with all levels of government, education and local groups.
Our members have the opportunity to gain access to government services and information which they may not be aware of. The Chambers meetings are educational and are about learning something new or gaining insight into areas which have an impact on our catchment, such as development of the airport, possible cruise ship terminals proposals, light rail development and major events like the recent Commonwealth Games.
We have also had consultation on Council developments such as the Palm Beach Business District plans and the development of Coolangatta street scene, which the Southern GC Chamber was very active in progressing.
Everyone is welcome to come along to our meetings and network to build business either as a member or guest.
The goal of the Southern Gold Coast Chamber of Commerce is to provide a leadership role in achieving economic growth and encourage sustainable development of the local area which will enhance and benefit the business and general community.
We achieve this through regular meetings, networking opportunities, and other functions, which include members from the local, state, and federal governments and other business leaders from around the area.
The Southern Gold Coast Chamber of Commerce is also a proud member of the Gold Coast Combined Chambers of Commerce and CCIQ.
These members are highly valued for their contribution to the
Southern Gold Coast Chamber.
