About Josh

Born and bred on the Southern Gold Coast, Josh is a passionate advocate for the region with career experience spanning tourism, major events and marketing.

Until its closure in July 2020, Josh was the CEO of Connecting Southern Gold Coast, the peak economic development body for the southern region.

For over 12 years Connecting Southern Gold Coast was a controlled entity of the City of Gold Coast responsible for promoting the south, fostering business growth and managing major & community events.

Josh brings extensive major event and marketing experience having also worked with global sports management company IMG, the Gold Coast Titans, and more recently the Gold Coast Suns where he oversaw the club’s events and founding match day experience.
