The surf club boasts the best restaurant in Currumbin with the team offering you a very clever blend of bistro favourites and stunning, contemporary Australian cuisine.

The Vege Chip Company is the market leader in producing plant-based Gluten Free chips Australia wide. We pride ourselves on providing Gluten Free snacks that taste great all the while being Vegan Friendly, free from eggs, genetically modified ingredients, artificial colourings, and preservatives

The factory is an exclusively gluten and meat free facility with strict quality and food safety procedures in place to ensure you get a snack you can eat in confidence.

The Vege Chip brand started it’s amazing journey to success over 30 years ago, debuting as a "genuinely tasty Gluten Free" snack and was sold at the local markets around the Gold Coast area, eventually culminating in Australia wide distribution to all major supermarkets in Australia. Today the Vege Chip Company has become a household name for Gluten Free snacks and a trusted Australian snack food company since 1990.

Making Vege chips and coming up with new and innovative plant-based snack products that everyone can enjoy is a way of life for our dedicated team. It is not just a business. We believe it, we live it, and we deliver it!

Laura Gerber has been the Member for Currumbin since March 2020.

Mrs Gerber is the Shadow Assistant Minister for Justice and Youth and the Shadow Assistant Minister for the Night-time Economy and Cultural Development. She is also the Deputy Chair of the Legal Affairs and Safety Committee.

Prior to entering Parliament, Laura forged a successful career in the legal profession as a lawyer and barrister. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Southern Cross University.

Laura started her legal career at a local law firm in Coolangatta. She went on to become a Federal Prosecutor with the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions and then a Disciplinary Prosecutor with the Office of the Health Ombudsman.

A mutli faceted 109 year old family farm: the oldest continuous banana farm in Australia. Now the farm is an organic farm practising Regenerative Agriculture, Composting, Permaculture growing 85 different types of exotic fruit trees, vegetables, herbs, flowers, and coffee. The farm also has an organic farm produce shop and an organic cafe. The farm has a keen focus on education, training and rehabilitation and has had more than 3,000 school and university students attend the educational farm tours where they learn the principles of organic farming and the direct link to human health. Also, the farm conducts workshops for Defence veterans to assist in their rehabilitation. as well as sponsoring a charity called ’The Veterans Organic Garden Ltd” which is a 5,000m2 organic garden and food forest for veterans to spend time in nature and recuperate and heal. The program is called “Healing through Farming’. The farm has been featured on a number of TV and media programs. Most recently it featured on Channel 9 “My Way” TV program in December 2022.

Freemans Organic farm is in the process of building a sustainable environmentally friendly cafe which can trade 7 days a week and Friday and Saturday nights until 8pm.

Alphonsus and Lily Fitzgibbons bought their first pub, the Kirabelle Hotel (now Coolangatta Sands Hotel) in Coolangatta in the 1930s, the first of four generations of local publicans. The Fitzgibbons family has owned the Robina Pavilion, proudly serving the local community and employing hundreds of locals since the 1990s. Following extensive renovations, the family was thrilled the Robina Pavilion was voted the #1 pub on the Gold Coast, as voted by the community in the Gold Coast Bulletin, in 2021. In addition to the Robina Pavilion, the Fitzgibbons family owns and operates pubs in South East Queensland and South Australia.
