Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary gets into the Holiday Spirit

The holiday season is officially underway at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, with the arrival of Christmas decorations and other festive offerings at the park.

Buildings within the Sanctuary and front façade of the famous park have been adorned with garland, Christmas wreaths and lights.

Although the coronavirus pandemic has caused some changes to operations, there will still be plenty of holiday cheer. Here’s how the park will be celebrating:

Blinky Bill has launched a new show in time for Christmas. With new songs and fun dance routines, the brand-new ‘Blinky Bill’s Christmas Wishes’ show will surprise and delight the little ones as Nutsy dreams of a white Christmas. Both Blinky and Nutsy will also be offering special family photo opportunities in a COVID-safe way to remember this special Christmas experience.

The Sanctuary is also ringing in the festive season with a number of new presentations and offerings. This includes the all-new ‘Aussie Scales & Tails Show’ and ‘Wildlife Hospital Presentation’ both occurring daily. The park is also bringing back the popular ‘Aboriginal Culture Show’ featuring the Yugambeh dances. Holiday-themed merchandise and food and beverage items will be available throughout the park.

In the Sanctuary’s signature retail store – Natures Gifts, this year it has been transformed with a Christmas overlay and a beautiful selection of Christmas decorations and gifts to purchase. This store is open to public 7-days a week, 8:00am to 5:00pm with late night trading to 8:00pm on Friday nights. Free 1-hour parking is available in the Sanctuary’s car park.

The Sanctuary is also offering some new Wildlife Experiences, tours and conscience gift options with more information here - https://currumbinsanctuary.com.au/christmas
