Facebook first for Chamber

The Creek to Creek Chamber of Commerce has become the first chamber of commerce on the Gold Coast to have a Facebook page. With more than over 150 million people now on Facebook worldwide, the online platform offers an easy way for members to keep up with chamber events, and make comment on local business issues.

Local communications expert and Chamber committee member Gordon Watson says, "This is a proactive step for the Creek to Creek Chamber of Commerce  and the first of its kind on the Gold Coast. Importantly having a Facebook presence allows our members to keep in touch and up to date on local issues, simply by logging onto their Facebook account. It is important for our chamber to stay relevant to our members, and with the over 25 age bracket the largest growing segment on Facebook, it is important we move with the times."
