Footpath closure | Dutton Street

The footpath along Dutton Street (between Marine Parade and Griffith Street) will be closed to facilitate the hoisting of materials to building. The closure will be in place this coming Monday 22 February from 6.30am to 6.30pm (contingency dates 23 February to 26 February).

There will be a detour in place for pedestrians.

Amenities refurbishment | Snapper Rocks

Construction has commenced refurbishing the existing amenities block at Snapper Rocks.

Renovations include:

• replacement of roof purlins and sheets
• floor and wall tile replacement
• installation of new partition walls
• electrical component and plumbing hardware upgrade
• repainting building interior

The site will be closed for approximately eight weeks (weather permitting). Several carparks will be used by the contractor. Two portaloos have been placed behind Rainbow Bay SLSC for general use.

Bioretention renewal works | Tallebudgera

The City will be undertaking works at the existing bioretention basin located in the centre median of Hidden Cove, Tallebudgera.

Works involve removing the grasses and replacing with river rock.

Works are scheduled to occur between 1 March and 5 March (weather permitting).

Pressure Cleaning | Tugun Village Precinct

The City will be pressure cleaning the footpaths and road islands in Tugun commencing Monday 22 February to Friday 26 February.

Footpath closure | Lanham Street

The Lanham Street footpath (between McLean Street and Warner Street) will be closed to facilitate stormwater/sewer connections commencing this coming Monday 15 February to Monday 8 March from 6.30am to 6.30pm.

There will be a detour in place for pedestrians.

TRAFFIC ALERT | Currumbin

There will be a full road closure with a detour of Elizabeth Street (between Noojee Street and Love Street) Currumbin to construct a stormwater pipeline.

The closure will be in place from Monday 15 February to Wednesday 31 March (weather permitting).
