Foot Path Repairs

City maintenance crew will be performing maintenance works on the Oceanway adjacent to 307 Golden Four Drive this coming Monday 8 March. These works will involve excavation, pipe repairs and may require replacement of a section of the path.

TRAFFIC ALERT

There will be a temporary half road closure (eastbound) with a detour of Lang Street Bilinga for the concrete pour.

The closure will be in place Tuesday 9 March (contingency dates 11-12 March) from 6.30am to 6.30pm (weather permitting).

TRAFFIC ALERT

There will be a temporary full closure of the Tweed Street access road (NW corner of Tweed Street and Rutledge Street) Coolangatta for the installation of new water main across Rutledge Street.

The closure will be in place Monday 8 March to Thursday 1 April from 7am to 5pm (weather permitting).

There will be a temporary full road closure with detour of Petrie Street (between Marine Parade and Eden Avenue) Coolangatta for tower crane installation.

The closure will be in place Tuesday 9 and Wednesday 10 March (contingency dates 11-12 March) from 6.30am to 6.30pm (weather permitting).

Footpath closure, Griffith Street

City officers have advised of the following change of dates for the footpath closure along Griffith Street.

The footpath and shoulder along Griffith Street (between Warner Street and McDonald Street) will be closed to facilitate roofing repairs. The closure will be in place two times per week between Monday 1 March and Thursday 1 April from 4am to 9am.
