The Southern Gold Coast Chamber of Commerce Inc AGM will be held on Thursday 17th September at the Currumbin RSL commencing at 6.45 am for 7.00 am. The formal notice of the AGM is available at this link:
Under the terms of our constitution all current Board Members will resign and nominations are now open for those vacated positions. All financial members have a voting right and may nominate for the Board and Executive posts. This year many of our current Board and executive have indicated they will re-nominate. Nominations must be delivered to the Chamber 14 day prior to the AGM and any questions for the AGM must be delivered in writing 7 days prior to the AGM.
Nomination forms for the 2020 AGM are available on this link. Please note that any person nominating must be a financial member of the Chamber and must be seconded by another financial member of the Chamber.
This event will be FREE for each financial member with a voting right, however BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL for catering purposes. Guests and non-members will be charged $30 and the event will be following Covid 19 safe practices.
We invite all financial members to enjoy a free breakfast, and to learn what the Chamber has achieved in the last 12 months.
We will also be having insightful presentations on the new City Of Gold Coast eMarketplace vendor procurement system and initiatives from the CCIQ that are helping businesses during these challenging times.

Presented by Scott Stewart Scott joined The City Of Gold Coast in 2019 and has over twenty years’ experience as an executive in both the private and public sectors. Previously Scott held the Senior Commercial Manager role at MLC Insurance, Consulting roles with both Deloitte and KPMG and was also the Chief Information Officer at Sunsuper for over ten years. Scott holds a Research degree in IT at QUT and three years ago he relocated his family from Brisbane to the beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland. |
