Showcasing Currumbin RSL Group “Past Present Future”.

The Currumbin RSL was recently awarded Club of The Year for 2021 at the Keno & Clubs Queensland Awards. The Club has been a long-standing supporter of our Chamber and plays a vital role in the local Community. We are pleased to be able to host a joint event with the Club where they will be able to showcase their plans.

Rachel Handley Young Veteran Coordinator: Veteran Business Showcase and Mentor Program
ANZAC Day Overview and Guest Speaker: Karen Bird Advocate and Mother of a VeteranThere will be an overview of Currumbin RSL Group businesses and upcoming projects including updates on community and sustainability activities.

Veteran Employment and Businesses will be showcased and the new Veteran Mentoring Program launched.

Finally an overview of the ANZAC Day week of activities will be provided with special guest Speaker Karen Bird speaking about her advocacy work in the Veteran health space, and her role as Ambassador for the upcoming Walk4Remembrance.
