The next Creek to Creek breakfast meeting is an event not to be missed! It’s not often you get the opportunity to dine in the hangar of a huge operational help centre surrounded by helicopters, planes and support crew. To be held in the Careflight Hangar at Coolangatta Airport on Thursday August 5, this will be a breakfast with a difference!

RACQ Careflight Rescue is a non-profit, Queensland-based charitable organisation, which operates out of the Gold Coast airport. Their helicopter rescue crews have saved thousands of lives and their dedicated pilots, critical care doctors and paramedics are on standby 24/7.

Members and guests will be treated to a fully escorted tour of the hangar where they’ll be able to see the rescue helicopters and jets close up and meet the crew on duty who will speak about their roles and duties. All that excitement is bound to work up an appetite and mobile catering company, Foodoo, will provide a delicious 'cocktail dining' breakfast sure to please.

We urge members to invite family, friends and colleagues to share this thrilling experience, and $10 from each ticket will be donated directly to Careflight. There will also be great door prizes and raffles on the day to raise extra funds for this very worthy charity.

 

Early bookings are encouraged as tickets are strictly limited due to space constraints. Please be advised that the hangar’s proximity to the airport grounds and runway make it a secure zone, so some security details such as current drivers licence number will be required in advance from all those attending.
